In the directory specified by the directive upload_tmp_dir in php.ini
or
in the system default temp directory if not specified

Errors Installing WordPress On My Website?
I have web-hosting at Startlogic.com. I download the wordpress zip and extracted the contents. then i created a mysql database in the startlogic “vdeck” i called it wordpress321 and i made a username and password. then i change wp-config-sample to wpconfig and filled in the changes. then i uploaded all the files (2.9 mb) to public_html on my web-server.
And i get an error message saying something about how the script could not fulfill its request. ive tried this sooooo many times, please help!!!!!

I’m working off of nothing here as I have never installed WordPress, but on I’ve two possible suggestions:
(1) Once you upload it, you still have to sort of “install it” on the server. To do this you go to like:
http://www.yourdomain.com/whereitisstored/wordpress/install/
(2) MyBB you have to “chmod” files in order for the program to work correctly on your server. Make sure read/write/execute access is avalible to all required files

when a file is partially uploaded with php 5 where would the server put the file?
i have a dot5hosting server on the vdeck system
